The hotel offers a wonderful experience with its unbeatable location at the foot of the path to Kiyomizu-Dera, making it easy for me to visit the temple without battling crowds. The room was a bit off-putting due to a strong smell from the decorations, which made my stay less than ideal. While the service was helpful and attentive, the overall experience fell slightly short of perfection. The hotel is great for its amenities, but I felt the rooms could use a bit more attention to detail.
